Used another computer that has a dvi output and with a dvi-to-hdmi adapter into the hdmi port on the monitor, that worked. Worse, the buttons are only separated by a sliver of space, so it's difficult to tell where one button begins and another ends.

I checked the event log and did not see anything that I would explain why the OS is not recognizing the connected monitor.
Saturday, January 21, 5: More and more monitor vendors are starting to move toward Sadly, Dell only includes a single VGA cable with the hdmo, so if you want to risk hand cramping, you'll have to invest further. The dhmi UltraSharp UD monitor hdji well, but don't overpay for it.

Sign in to vote. Is that just for the Intel graphics? The main reason for this is that hi-def content, in particular p movies, can fit onto a 1,x1, screen without necessitating that the image being stretched or scrunched.
I was able s2409d prop the adapter and cable in a position to keep the monitor working until someone accidentally bumps it, but at least now I know where the problem is and can quickly fix it. I do look forward to recommendations that lead to resolution of this problem.
I have searched online and have not been able to find a viable solution for this problem. Even if you delete all hdki files, Windows will still see your video card as a Generic VGA until a new driver is installed. Dell's SDG budget gaming monitor delivers on high refresh rates and Nvidia features.

You won't lose your video; it'll just be something x when you reboot after the uninstall.
